Andrew, what kind of mag does your B have on it? Most are the same but there are some differences on the older mags.

Andrew, look where the mag rotor is pointing then pull the mag out & look at the back, there will be an impulse stop ring with a mark on the ring & a series of marks on the housing, looking from the back, if the mark on the ring isn't 2-1/2 marks to the left of the center mark on the housing loosen the 2 screws & move it so it is. Then re-install the mag (with the rotor pointing the same as before removal), then turn the top of the mag all the way forward, then remove the L/H spark plug & turn the flywheel until the L/H cylinder in on compression & the "LH Impulse" mark on the flywheel is lined up with the case mark (at 3'oclock behind flywheel) now s-l-o-w-l-y turn the top of the mag in the rearward direction until the impulse snaps, then tighten the mag bolts, then turn the flywheel clock wise 1/2 turn, then turn the flywheel s-l-o-w-l-y in the starting direction & make sure the mag snaps as the "LH Impulse mark" on the flywheel lines up with the case mark, (if not, loosen & adjust the mag slightly until it does)----- That's it, it's now timed.
