I have a 60 that was lacking antifreeze and the block cracked, would it be better to sell it for parts, fix it or junk it? The tractor is in fair shape otherwise?

Fix the crack. If the block is not layed open, grind the crack. Drill the ends of the crack, as well as other spots in the crack. Patch it with JB Weld of some other epoxy sealer like JB Weld. Devcon two part epoxy might even work for you. It is worth a try to fix the crack.

Spoker:

I used Devcon 20 years ago on an "H" block, and it held well, but I think today JB Weld might be just as strong.

One thing I've done, if you have a sand blaster, after you stop drill and grind the crack open a bit it is to sand blast the area real well. It really seems to give the cast area a "tooth" to hold onto the epoxy.

Anything you can do to create some little ridges for the expoxy to hold onto will keep antifreeze from getting under it.
