I removed the air cleaner oil cup, would like to clean the screen. The decal says to "remove the screen tray" but it appears to be spot welded into the air cleaner body. How do I do this? Thx

On my 1950 B the air filter is all spot welded together and can not be disassembled. However if you remove the hood from the tractor you will find 3 bolts on the top that when removed will allow you to remove the whole canister with the screen in it. You can dunk the whole thing in solvent or pressure wash it or what ever method works to clean it. Also this is the time to replace the paper gasket at the top of the air filter canister. On my tractor the gasket shrunk and was allowing dirty air to bypass the filter and be drawn directly into the engine. If you take the hood off you might as well remove the whole air intake stack and clean out all the dirt and mud dauber nests. It is common to find those intakes partially plugged up.

Craig, thx for the information. What's inside of the canister, is it mostly air apace with a screen across the bottom or is it almost filled with a mesh element? Or something halfway between?

It's been a while since I had it apart but if I remember correctly the whole thing is filled with that steel mesh / screen. If the oil cup was not maintained with clean oil then the mesh can get pluged up with dirt and be very difficult to clean out. After you take it apart you will be able to tell more.
