Hi I am restoring my 1941 JD B and want to redo the wiring. Is there an outfit that sells clothe wiring that matches the original wiring on the John Deere. I know you can buy pre made wire looms, but they are way to expensive for what you get, and I would just assume run my own wires. Thanks....

Try www.riwire.com I restored a W-9 last year and bought all of my cloth wire from them. Very good to deal with. It's amazing how much authentic cloth wiring and terminals add to a restoration.

Scott I'm restoring my 41 B Serial # 106002 and I got my cloth wiring loom from Sharps Tractor in Fair Grove Missouri. They have web site and you can order from them cost around $85.00 complete. The web page is [email protected] Hope this helps.

Try Agri-Services..13899 North Road...Alden, NY 14004. www.wiringharness.com. I don't know if they sell the wire only or not. I have found them to be reliable vendors.
