Joshua, Did you adjust all the end play out of the shifter shafts and use new detents?

Joshua, The detents are the spring loaded points that ride on the shifter cams. The points wear off of the old ones and they get sloppy and loose positioning of the shift lever. The new ones will be a ball bearing resting in a socket. On the right side of the trans case you will find 2 plugs, be careful when you take them out because they are spring loaded.
