I got tired of frezing my tail off feeding cattle with the loader on my 4020 and bought a Hiniker model 1300 cab from a friend. I've installed the cab and just the wind break it provides is great but now I would like to hook up the heater that is located in the cab header. Can I hook into the same ports I use for the can type block heater now installed on the tractor? It is connected to the fitting located mid block just below the intake manifold on the LH side and runs through the can heater an into the center of the head on the RH side.

Looking forward to the heat - John H

HI!! I have same cab you got.. the way it's set on my tractor for heating, one hose is hook to HOT water coming out engine on water pump that way helps push hot to the heater from the left side, from heater in cab goes back to engine on the Right side in hole of head.. my dad had this cab put on tractor 4000 when it was new. let me know if this helps. my picture of tractor is on tractor Photos, JD 4000
