My local john deere dealer has a 39 B hand start tractor. when i went to look at it today i took some notes of it to ask you people what the value of it is. i turned the fly wheel to see if it was locked up. it was stuck so i gave it a big jerk and it busted loose. the paint is faded really bad the manifold is poor, the grill is dented. it has steel wheels, front and back. rusted muffler.no pto or hydrolics. wheels rusted.
thanks,
joe

Hey Joe, ever price a pair of good B steel fronts?
Are the rears bolt in hubs? Skeletons? A mediocre B can be worth 1000 but the wheels make a big difference.

500 bucks if it dont run
1500 if it runs
