I was working on my 4020D today, and now it won't start. Here's what happened: I was installing orange flashing warning lights onthe cab. I was hooking up the wires, and couldn't get the lights to work. I then decised to start the tractor up and...Nothing! No electrical anything, except the headlights. No rear working lights, no click from the solenoid, even the radio, which is directly wired to one of the batteries is dead. I looked in the operators manual and it said something about a breaker in the cigarette lighter, so I took that out and nothing there. I even diconnected the batteris and still nothing. Any ideas? Is there some type of breaker or fuse somewhere? The tractor is a 65 powershift and was converted to 12V. I had started is about 15 minutes before the failure happened. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Mike

There are 2 circuit breakers behind the panel under the dash {light switch is attached to this panel) It sounds to me that you have lost your ground, check the cable connections to the trans case and or starter as I don't know how you did the 12V conversion and possibly run a ground wire from the chassis to the cab.
