I can only get one subscription, so which is the better overall magazine; nice photos, good articles, etc., etc. All opinions welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks.

AGEN, Lots of good answers here but let's look at solving the problem, find a friend or make a new friend if you have to. Then get him/her to subscribe to one magazine and you get the other, then lend/trade and enjoy both. It will be worth the hassle because the don't "overlap" that much. Merry Christmas! Bob

I get both and I like both. But, if I could have only one, I would get Green Mag. cause it comes every month. Steve

Does Two Cylinder Club provide serial number search assistance to subscribers? If so, that might be a vote for them, since Deere started their Collector's Club.

Nederlands. Oijen 21 december 2001 NB

How late do you get your Green Mag. I get mine usually in the first 2 or 3 days of each month. I live in Montana.

I get both and it's hard to say which one is my favorite. It depends on your interest. Their titles are pretty decriptive. 'Green' deals with all John Deere products, not just the Johnny Poppers, but anything they made that was green, two cylinders, new generation, lawn and garden, etc. 'Two Cylinder' is pretty much what it says, two cylinder tractors and related equipment. If that doesn't help you decide, keep this in mind, Green publishes once a month, Two Cylinder comes out once every other month. Happy Holidays.HJ

Handsome Jims comparison is good. The product of both is a top notched publication. John Deeres apparent sweetheart deal with Two Cylinder to the exclusion of Green Mag. gives me a bitter taste. Apparently there is no love lost between the two publishers. While Green Mags attention to New Gen doesnt add anything for me, the next guy may find that his reason for reading Green. I get a lot out of Greens Mr. Thinker article.

For now I take both, but if I give one up it will be Two Cyl. Guess image and PR do matter. Putt Putt
