Thanks to all who E mailed and reply on my tractor problem,I got the regulator set at 5/16 inch, the tractor started but was still starving for fuel,,,I open the two neddle under the carb and it it started to run better, all the way to full RPMs ,,,but I had to open them all the way,,,When I drove it out of the shed... it starting to starve for fuel when I put it in 4th gear and push the clutch, I have not done a compression check, AND this is the first time in 6+ years this tractor has been driver,,could the carb need to be rebuilt? I am going to check the valve clearance tomorrow,

The matched pair of adjustment screws under the carb are only for the idle cicuit. There needs to be more fuel through the main power circuit either from carb adjustment, carb rebuilding/cleaning or more pressure therefore more LP flow from the regulator.

I did a compression check and it had 120lbs on each cylinder,I am going to take the regulator off again and bend the tab to 1/4 inch and see if that will do the trick, if not rebuild the carb and so on... thanks
