We are working on a JD 3010 Row Crop, and are in need of some information please.

What is the correct front wheel size? Our machine had 2 different size rims on it....

We are looking for some sheet metal. The plate that covers the carb and the small "hood molding" which is like 1.5" high by maybe 8-10" long. Also the JD emblem on the bottom edge of the hood.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Wayne

The standard and optional tire sizes for 3010 tractors is listed in the December 2001 GM

Stranger,

And I spent time looking for my old 3010 Op Manual and sales brochures!! Shame on me!! And I read that 3010 article thoroughly, too. A mind is a terrible thing to lose, eh?

Most 3010-20's I've seen have 600x16 on front of them , don't know if that was standard eq or not . As for the sheet metal parts you can get them from Deere or some aftermarket suppliers , they would be cheaper . Abilene Machine is one and maybe TSC has some panels . JIM

JDJIM,

Would Deere have bumped up the tire sizes a little when they came out with the 3020? The Op Manual for the 3010 definitely said 6.00-14 tires, but a sales brochure on the 3020 says 6.00-16, as you said in your post.

The rear tire size increased as well.

According to Operator's Manual OM-R28871R, the front tires should be 6.00-14, either 4-ply or 6-ply for the row-crop tractor with dual front wheels.

Can't help on the other questions - sorry!
