what size are the bolts that hold the track pads on the 420 crawler and what size is the inside diameter of the muffler that goes on the 420 crawler.

I think I used 5/8" x 2 1/2" Grade 8. The parts book dose not show bolt size only a part number which usually means in "J.D. that it is not a off the shelf bolt, and that part # was subbed over three times. I run a straight pipe on my 430c and used a 2" O.D. pipe and had it expanded to fit over stock exhaust pipe (part #AT10523T) (the short pipe that bolts to the manifold).

ADDITIONAL: The reason the J.D. bolts are not off the shelf is the length of the bolt comes out flush with the end of the nut. I put on a washer and a Lock and a little of the bolt comers past the nut. A three foot long pipe on the end of the 3/4" braker bar and give it every thing you got, then just a little more. use only grage * bolts.
