This morning a fellow put up a post condemning the badmouthing that sometimes goes on on this board. I responded to this post, as did others. It appears to have been taken down. I hope that I didnt miff the management of this board in suggesting that they might do more to control this stuff. If so, I sincerely apologize. Did this cause the whole string of posts to be deleted or was there something pretty rotten that was posted later?

I cant remember the guys name but he brought up something that should really be addressed on this site. Webmaster, please explain.

I have deleted all posts that contained the bad mouthing and all posts related to it (including those that discussed it). I want all of these boards kept clean and friendly, as clearly defined in the message board guidelines (there is a link to the guidelines on every forum). I'll repeat those guidelines here:

====
These message boards are moderated only to the extent that we wish to promote a harmonious exchange of information. At no time will foul language, personal attacks, flames, chain-letters or advertising be allowed. We reserve the right to delete these when we see them and will disallow individuals from further posting who choose to ignore these parameters.

The message boards at this site are the private property of Yesterday's Tractors and are being made available to our site visitors for the exchange of information regarding older and antique tractors. Questions generate discussion - and discussions generate information which can be utilized by all.

=====

If you have further comments for the webmaster, please post them in the Site Comments forum instead of here in the tractor forums.

Thanks!
Kim

Thanks again. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's sick of these stupid arguments, be it IH-Deere, or Ford-Chevy-Dodge. Now, back to tractors.....
