Can you operate a semimount plow with a 70 needing to adjust the rear end with a cylinder and the front end with the 3pt?

The equipment mounted on the 3 pt (the J.D. 800 series hitch) that was made for the 50,60,70, all required gage wheels because the tractors didn't have load and depth control. As to adding a extra valve I cut the pressure line between the pump and the power trol box and welded 1/2 pipe couplers on both ends of the cut and then pipe the pressure line coming from the pump to the "in" of a OPEN CENTER valve. The "out" on the valve is pipe to the other 1/2/ coupler going to the power trol box. You can get 1,2,or 3 valves. I have 3 valves piped into my 630 this way to run my loader. It's been on my 630 since 1977. And sometime I use my foot to run the hand cluch when my hands are steering and useing the valves. If you mount a gage wheel on the plow use bolt brackets that way you can move it back and forth on the land side till you find where it works best.

The more I think about it, you would like a alot better, a fully mounted 3 pt plow with a gage wheel. Then you could get a book for a J.D. 810 plow (the plow made for the 60,70, and the 800 hitch) and start with the book settings and go from there.

Not with just the power trol, when you plug in the cylinder the rockshaft is disabled. It can be done with a remote valve tied into the hydraulics, but will be unhandy to operate because you have no load and depth control, you may find you don't have enough hands to work all the levers to keep the plow level, work the clutch etc.
