So cool, so cool. It's really gratifying to see just how many 'good' folks are willing to come to the defense of illiteracy and poor keyboarding skills. But, I suppose everybody wants to be a defender of something these days.
It's amazing though, hardly any of you 'good' people even bothered to make a comment on poor Mark's delemma. He was probably just looking for a too bad, so sad, or two.

Hey Bobalu,

I don't know what your problem is, but I agree with Charles below that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. You spelled dilemma - delemma, and you don't have the guts, like most of the cranks on these message boards, to list your e-mail address. Don't know who annointed you Message Board Spelling and Grammar Inspector.

Jim, please refer to my message to Mark near the top of the page. As for the E mail address, I guess I could always put in a fake one like some of you good people do when you start getting cocky.

I have felt your pain Mark, my uncle restored old John Deeres back in the late seventies and early eighties before it was fashionable and he had a late model A that I really liked and he was going to let me have for little or nothing. But just starting out with a young family, I really didn't think I could spare that. So while I was trying to scrape up the money which was probably there all along, Uncle died, Cousin sold every thing he had and stuck every damn dime in his pockets and I spent the next ten years looking for a deal.
Moral of the story, If you have a chance to pick up something that you want, you had better go for it and not stand around a wait for them to give it to you.HJ

That's really tough luck Mark, Maybe he gave a test that required good spelling and the proper use of apostrophies to the potential buyers.

He who lives in a glass house should not throw stones... There should be either a period after "Mark", or a semicolon only if you don't capitalize "Maybe".

And it's spelled "apostrophe" not "apostrophie", so who said you know how to spell either?

To Bobalu: This board is for asking questions and getting answers. It is not an english class. We are not looking for correct spelling, but we are looking to help other people solve there problem's with their tractors. If the only thing you can do criticize somebody's spelling then you need to get a life. I love my old (JD) and am glad we have a message board that we can exchange idea's and not worry about somebody like you wanting to screem about every little spelling mistake.

Hey Bobalu--- Don't you think you should have had a comma after the word Spelling?

Just a couple of days ago I called my wife over to look at a post that was spelled just terrible.I told her that one of the things that I enjoyed about this board ,was that the people are not concerned with the errors and the misspelled words.God knows , I am an offender of the english language, and an even worse typist. I told her that I enjoyed good people that are working together to solve problems.
Then I run into this inconsiderate BOOB!!
What a BOBALU!

Just how much time does it take to look over what you expect 'good' people to try to read.
