Hw hard are these loaders to come by? How much should I expect to pay for one? Ae they airly easy to haul? Do they work good for plowing snow? I really want one of these loaders, but I don't know where I can get one. I don't mind if I have to replace the hydraulic hoses. I would plan on mounting one of these on a Farmall M. Will ths match up? I might be doing sme remodeling on this loader too.. To make it stronger. Anyone got any leads on a #45?

Ken I have a #45 JD loder that I would sell It has a full hyd bucket and the silage or snow bucket on it. The hoses would probably need to be replaced. It is set up for a 520 JD. I bought a crawler to replace it.It is in fair shape. I used it but it didnt load gravel like I thought it would. Was wanting $500 for it. I am one hour westr of St. Louis Mo.

I dont know where you can one, but i can tell you the 45 is a good loader.I have one on my John Deere 520 I use it to plow snow. It has a 80''utility bucket,thats just right for a 520 620 or farmall H or M Yes the 45 loader can be put on farmall tractors,with the right mounting brackets. The rated lift capacity is 2150lbs Sure you can make it stronger, but i dont see a need for it.i put mine to the test allot of times without a problem. The thing i like the most about the 45 is that its the easiest loader John Deere ever made to attach or detach.

No leads as to where there is one. I see one come up on auction every couple or three years or so and I do not recall them going for much more then the $200.00 to $300.00 with machanical bucket, but in real top shape. Hdy cylinders on the bucket are rare in this part of the country, as are 45W's. Scroll down to where I answered another question on 45 mounting brackets. J.D. made a special bracket when the loader was to go on a Farmall. Again the Mast was the same, the plate welded to the mast was different. As to plowing snow, they will plow snow with the snowbucket attc, but if it is macancal trip, your arm will get tired tripping the bucket.
they did have a snowplow attc.that mounted in lue of the bucket. I do not think you would have to beef it up for a "M". I have seen vevy few with any welds on it.

I am not sure my loader is a 45, but had a man
that buys and sells machinery tell me it was.
It has a hand trip bucket. It is in fair shape,
selling, because I bought a skid loader. I' sell
it for 200.00 if your interested. I live near
Grand Rapids, Michigan. You can load it in the
back of a pickup, long box.P.S. had it on my JD730
