Hey guys, I have a question for ya. I was thinking about totally rePAINTING my 1950 C, then trading it for a restored, or ready to be restored H or M.. Would like an M. It runs like brand new. It doesn't smoke. Doesn't use oil. Good compression, and oil pressure. 99% rears. And I would put new fronts on it. But otherwise, the fronts are about 70%. The tin is already painted up on it. The front grille is a little banged up, but it is kind of hard to find C's grilles in perfect shape- something I heard. The hood only has one crease through the left-top-center- by the air cleaner, and muffler.. How to fix??? The electrial is re-wired, but still doesn't CHARGE.. According to the manual, it is all correct, but still doesnt charge. Generator is rebuilt. Starter is rebuilt. New V.R. 12 volt. Fix?? I will put a new battery in it. Change the oil, and do all the fluids. It has rear wheel wieghts, tire chains, and a snow blade- which is adjustable with one bolt- angled or straight. Hydraulics work excellent. No leaks anywhere on the tractor. It also has the rear cultivator lift arm that is operated off of the touch control. You see that a lot on Cubs and A's. I geuss what I am really wondering is if I can get a good sum or trade for this. I would like a M, or an H. Would like it to have a loader also-Similar condition to what my C is now, but fewer ELECTRICAL problems, if I do the repairs that I need to. (Paint, fix dents, electrical, front tires, and battery) I am in Minnesota, and you don't see a lot of C's up here, but there are quite a few. I HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE OR THE OTHER. It's either the C, H, or M. I want an M the most though. Anyone know what a god loader for an M would be? Not too expensive. I have seen them go for 150$ or 200$. good deal?
