Mix diesel fuel and dimethoate (cygon) together about 80% - 20% and you won't see a fly. Dimethoate is a insecticide for leaf hopper in alfalfa.

Gee, And I thought things got a little goofy over on the Case board!! Anyway fellas the JD people around here use the drain oil out of their Cases and Farmalls in their JD's. Best regards from the Case side!! mEl

Don`t pay any attention to that nasty john m, he is very mean spirited & vile. I wish my daughter had married twopop, or Larry`s dad instead! Gotta go, darn flies!

You might try my remedy. When my bull had a cold, I soaked a blanket in turpentine and throwed that over him. Not yet sure if it cured the cold, we ain't caught him yet.

Why be concerned with a few insects? People worry about bugs in their garden, but I ask you, would you want to eat something that even the bugs refused?

You don't say what kind of coats they're wearing; if they are fabric, I'd say just wash and Scotchguard them. If they are leather, you may need to have them dry-cleaned and get some advice from your cleaner.

Try washing them more often. Use dandruff shampoo. Maybe rub some used motor oil on them when you change the oil in your Farmall. You couldn't own a John Deere, because anyone who owns a John Deere would never ask such a stupid question
