Need some input on problemed 7520. We recently put the tractor to work, and after a few rounds everything came to a sudden halt, and the engine died. Just as if someone thru the brakes on and killed the engine while in gear. As this was happening a little smoke came thru the console. The tractor would not restart, however after a couple of hours it restarted and ran fine. I am not familiar with the history of this particular tractor although I have had another 7520 that ran great after 7,500 hrs of hard work. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I am not familiar with the 7520.does the engine shut off with the key or a shutdown cable?when you say it would not restart,do you mean it would not run or would not turn over.if it uses a cable to shut off and would not turn over,I believe you spun a rod or main bearing.if it turns off with the key,you may have a short in the wiring harness
