Has anybody out there ever mounted a front, stationary drawbar on a wide-front 4020? Sure would be handy for occasionally handling 4-wheel trailers, etc., without having to remove stuff mounted on the 3-point at the rear.

I fabricated a frame that uses the 4 bolt holes that one would normally mount front weights into. At the frames bottom maybe 6 inches lower that the front casting I mounted a big eyebolt. Works great for moving loaded haytrailers into the barn or conveyor side.

Thanks, John Henry. I started pondering this again this morning, and wound up robbing the adjustable gage-wheel mounting bar off an old JD 4-bottom plow. Holes in it bolted up perfectly to the front weight mount. H/D eye-bolt in bottom (or is it top?) hole about 7 inches below the mount. Works great pulling and parking a 4-wheel trailer w/ 5 T of cottonseed.
