Looking at buying a 3010 gas with a JD loader what should i expect to pay and are there any problems common with this tractor. Thanks in advance for any help.

Depending on condition of course whether wide or narrow front, wide worth more generally. I have seen 4-8 thousand. average about just over 6k. Watch out for leaking weap holes in the block. cylinders are sealed by o-rings with a hole to leak antifreeze if bad. Deere did away with that years later. diesels are worth more also. average gas about 5k here in wisconsin.

Check frame rails for cracks and frame bolts tight behind the loader frame. Pto pins are subject to breaking internally. There are sliding pins inside the pto shaft that shift the pto from 540 to 1000. It is a common problem and should check if loader has pto driven hyd pump.Check weep holes in block. You should be able to stick a piece of wire in holes to make sure they aren't plugged with lead or dirt to hold antifreeze in. Have been a JD service tech for 18 yrs I've seen about all the tricks. If hyd pump has been serviced make sure there is a case drain installed on hyd pump other wise the seal will leak. Pump builds too much case pressure otherwise.See if it JDG inj pump amd not a CB pump. If it has a CB pump it is nolonger available and you will need to buy a conversion kit that includes new inj pump and lines and will run about $2000.00 - $3000.00 to convert. Good luck and I hope I've given you some insite and didn't scare you off from buying it
