I'll be guessing a little here because I'm working with a 4010 that has only 3 settings: L, L&D ,and D. These settings are to allow different reactions of the 3-point to equipment like a semi-mounted plow, chisel plow, rear mount blade, brush hog ,etc. In the L (Load) position, the 3-point responds to the engine speed, when the engine pulls down, the 3-point is raised to reduce the load and then returns to the depth set when the engine regains it RPMs. In the (D) Depth position the 3-point responds only to the depth setting. In the L&D (Load & Depth) position the 3-points combines the two inputs (rpms & depth) to maintain both a more constant depth and engine RPMs. My guess is that L&D1 is more responsive to the load that the depth and L&D2 is more responsive to depth than to the load.
