Mike, if you posted your picture in the "Photo Gallery", then you are right and you did nothing wrong. You do not have to post to the web first to post in the Photo Gallery. In fact, if you try that (as I did) it says 'unrecognized format" and will not allow the picture to post at all. There is some malfunction with that section of YT. I have psoted a note on the Site Comments page for Ms. Kim, our "Mayor" and Webmistress. If it can be fixed, she will fix it. Please disregard some of the more tightly wound posters on this and other boards and enjoy the experience of sharing a love of old tractors, whatever color.

It seems to me Mike just asked a question,to post pictures of his tractor,I my self enjoy these pictures of other peoples resturations, but it seems like on this board we always have a few people who think they know everything, and very unwilling to HELP,just like to give people a hard time rather than answer the question asked.I asked a question about a John Deere B I got so much grief about it, I said the heck with the whole thing. I hope I mispelled a few things to keep a few of you upset!!!!! !!!!! !! BINDER-MAN

Mike, you probably didn't post your pics the way this site requires it. The method is not obvious. You need to first put your pictures on the web somewhere, either your website, a friends, or one of the services that allow you to post pictures for free. Then, you enter the web address (the URL) for exactly where on the web your picture is. This address goes in the box on the posting page called "optional image url."

If you do this, your picture will appear with the text you type.

Just in case you are new to the web, some of the snide remarks refer to your use of all caps in your text. That is usually reserved for making a point, like yelling. Some folks don't understand that there are all kinds of people reading here, not all grew up with computers.

regards,

Mike Hadley (almost kin)

Guys, let's stick with the important things like talking about tractors. If you want to squabble and hurl insults, go to one of those pointless chat rooms. Thanks for keeping our discussion page pure John Deere.

The main reason for discouraging the use of all caps is that it is very difficult to read. Reading a sentence in all caps is 1/3 as fast as regular text.

Its not in any book that I know of, its just considered to be common computer etiquete.

My condolences for your being optically challenged. You are the first one ever to say thats why you are typing in CAPs. Most do it because they know no better. If no one tells them then they never learn.

One of the wonderful features included in Windows is extra features to help folks who have additional hearing, vision or mobility needs.

You can find them under "Start", "Accessories", "Accessability Wizard" to aid you. Hope this helps you.

Thanks
