My brother bought a 720 gas two weeks ago. The man that he bought it from said he might have to rewire it. We'll tonight we went to start it and sparks flew from under the hood. I noticed a bare wire going to the coil earlier. The man tha t he bought it from had to put a new resister that mounts behind the gear sector. Does anybody know what i need to do first. Any help will be appreciated. thanks Russell.

Russell, first thing is find out what is grounding out & sparking & repair it before you have a fire. Then look it over real good & see what else needs attention. If it needs a whole new harness you can either build one or buy a replacement from one of the harness suppliers that advertise on this site.
