My dad just bought a wiring harness for his 1949 JD A. There is a wire on it that has a label that says to connect it to the "L" terminal on the voltage regulator but his voltage regulator does not have an "L" terminal. Does anyone know which terminal he can hook it to or does he have the wrong regulator?

Thanks

Keith, that wire (load wire) should hook to the (BAT) terminal on the regulator if the regulator doesn't have an (L) terminal. Leave the BAT wire on there & just hook the (L) wire there also.
