How many BNs were built? Are they worth more than BO/BRs?
Thanks Tom

The market for unstyled BN seems to be very soft. For some reason, the demand is not there. Nor is the supply. A long frame BN (less than 200 built) certainly puts it in the "rare" box, but when they come up for sale, they are only marginally higher than a comprable unstyled B.

The BR and BO on the other hand, are high in demand and the production numbers on both are much higher than the BN. If you are looking to buy early (brass tag) one of these, plan on spending plenty.

It all boils down to demand. Supply may drive demand but it does not control it.

I dont have the answer But I`d be glad to hear it.
Particularly if a response could determine how many were made unstyled and styled. I guess I could complicate the question further by asking how many B-N`s were built on the short and the later long frames. John Henry
