Winter project--still trying to get the live hydr. to work on my "G" before next year. Question when I put the remote pump on I removed the idler in pto pump and installed spacer between powertrol and rockshaft housing blocking off port that goes down to pto pump, should I have left idler in place my theory is with idler in place it would help provide sucion for G.H. pump Clooney you and WTW have a lot of experience with these old tractors got any ideas,I been greased up along time fooling with this thing, seals are good. Gman, you did the correct thing by removing that idler gear, if you don't it will over pressure the original pump with the PTO turning because of the block-off plate & lug the engine down. There is a service bulletin on the live hyd conversion from Deere, the only problem is I can't find it at this moment. If I do I will send it to you.
