Need some help and advice from you guys.
We did a clutch job on our 70 this week; replaced the disks, the pressure plate, springs, renewed the pulley bearing, dogs and toggles. The main drive disk looked good so we didn't replace that. After we got it all back together, the clutch remains engaged even when we move the lever to the disengaged position. putting a load on the engine. Obviously, we can't shift gears.
What did we do wrong, overlook, etc? thanks in advance for your help.

Dave, does the clutch disengage at all & does it snap when engaged & disengaged? If it just plain doesn't work & there is still a good snap in & out you have something installed wrong. If the clutch will disengage (the engine will still run with the trans in gear & tractor not moving) but the clutch pulley won't stop turning enough to shift gears you probably need to adjust the pulley brake tighter so it will stop the pulley with just a slight pull on the lever after dis-engagement (if the brake is adjusted too loose, pulling harder on the hand clutch lever will move the pulley in & start to re-apply the clutch). If there is no snap or the lever feels like it is not hooked to anything you probably have the clutch fork not installed in the operating sleeve groove.

Clooney-
Thanks for the quick help; I'm sure that the fork isn't installed in the correct groove; the symptoms go along with this problem. This is kind of what I was thinking as I mulled it over in my mind today. We will get on this tomorrwo afternoon and will report back.
Thanks again.
