Is there a way to do it, or do you just drain, flush, pour in 4 1/2 gallons and let it be? I can't find any info on checking the level in the Operators manual, nor can I find a level checking plug on the transmission case.

simple, when you fill the case, filler plug is at the lower rear at an angle, when it starts overflowing it is at the correct level.

Chuck, thanks. How stupid am I? The only time I ever refilled the transmission was when I had the cover off the top of the transmission, and I just dumped 4 1/2 gallons into the top.
