Are front spoked cutoffs ok to install on a 1941 Model B. Do they look as good as the non cut offs, or are they maybe not that good. I am going to buy a set and am unfamaliar with spoke wheels.

I have a 38 B with cutoffs on front whoever did it did a nice job and I think they look fine. The price of a good set of factory round spokes is way to high to worry much about changing them.

Terry,

I think it should be a matter of preference. What did/does your B have on it? Dad's 41 B came on flat spoke rear steel and round spoke front steel wheels. When we had it converted to rubber after WW II it had cutoffs all around - that's what I thought they all looked like for years.

My '41 B has the pressed steel rears and regular 15" wheels on the front and looks normal as well.

In short, there's nothing wrong with cutoffs or dish wheels - go with what you like. If your tractor has rear spokes, my opinion is that you should go with the front cutoffs.

Stan
