I have a 730 deisal that I want to convert to a puller. If I pull the frontweights, replace the wide front with narrow, remove the flat tops, three point, rockshaft arms, dual Hydralics, and replace the cast 15.5's with pressed 18.4x34's, then add a 250 pound fat boy, could I possibly make the #7000 weight class. fat boy is not optional

the way your tractor is equipped, you are better off selling yours for a hefty price and buying one that needs to bo bored out our something.

Mine weighs 7890 with a tricycle front and no fenders. If you have a square front axle and want to sell, let me know. I want to convert mine to WF. You should be able to get into 7000. There is a fellow around here that pulls one in 7000.

I have $7000.00 in this one. Most people don't want to pay that so I haven't even tried to sell it. I put it on a dyno and it is only making 39 horse power. It needs injector and pump work. I will probably pull all of that and send it off to be worked this fall.

We pull with a few guys that pull 730D's they are good pullers.. I pull against them sometimes in the 7100lbs or 7000lbs class. I think that both have flat back's to them... I don't know if you can make it buy removing some of the parts. If you want more HP, U need to increase the fuel psi, the stock pump does not put out enough psi.. take it out and install a ele. pump with some type of regulator... Good luck..
