I have the JD subbed part number battery tray for a late "B" (AR 1326R) If installed correctly with the shock rubbers, it still does not clear the bolt heads that hold the battery box. Is anyone makin a reproduction of the original "tray" that fits like it should?? I am starting to learn that many subbed part number parts, just dont work!

best to make your own hold down. I always use 3/4 angle and you can use smooth rod, thread post to meet your lenght...give up on trying to buy repo items.....

Terry, Correct connection has a reproduction battery tray available with or without the hardware, it looks like a good kit, I saw it after I had mine done. Joe is at [email protected] Bob
