35 B Front Wheel Bearings?

I have a 35 B with round spokes on the front. I was in the process of installing new front bearings but could not get the inside bearings (#JD7222) to fit. They won't go over the part of the spindle that the bearings fit on. My front pedestal is a B566R but I could not find it in the parts book. The outside bearings will work. When I took the old inside bearings out they fell out on the floor. There was no inside part to the bearings to keep them in. The race-cup accepts the new inside bearing but then it won't go upon the spindle because the interior diameter of the bearing keeper is too small.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know what bearing I need? I am stumped because I ordered the part number for the inside bearing from JD out of the parts book. Any help sure would be appreciated.

Rick, I checked a restoration guide I have just to double check the part number, and it seems to me that number is what should go on your tractor, unless you have a wide front, which I doubt. I have no idea what it happening to you, but I bet there is somebody here who can help.
Good luck, let us know how you make out.
