I am looking for a photograph of a tractor that my Father seen. He said that it was 3, 830's hooked together. that there was no front wheels. the 3 were fastened together to pull as one unit. if anybody could give me directions to a place to find photos of this tractor, I would greatly apprecieate it

It is definitely NOT a waste! Don Dufner is a bonafide North Dakota farmer and if you consider what he has in this three-tractor setup (financially as well as HP wise) as compared to a new Deere 4 wheel drive, it becomes quite clear that he is ahead on all counts. At least he is using them for what they were designed for, not for some hobbyist to fix up and paint up, then park them for all time! He has an incredible mechanical ability. More power to him. Also the caption on Rummy's page says something about 40 feet of plows. That is misleading in that it infers moldboard plows. What it should say is 40 feet of heavy duty cultivators (which some people call chisel plows).

That tractor is owned by Don Duffner, who exhibited it at TWO CYLINDER's EXPO "X", during July of 2000, in Waterloo, Iowa. There is another picture of this in the Sept-Oct 2000 issue of TWU CILINDER, on page 32. The picture mentioned on Rummy's site was taken there also.
