M & W Gear use to make a 'genaric' 9 bolt hub for
duals that had a key-stock and diameter that would
fit a '70 axel. They weren't very popular and
tended to mess-up the pinion grooves on the axel.
I saw a set used years ago and they only got used
one time before the guy bought snap-on duals. I
did see a set of 'custom-hubs' at a show last
month but the guy welded them to the axel!

I've got a set of these I took off of a JD 4030 last year. They have been on the tractor since 1975. There is no axle damage on my 4030. I've got these hubs and a set of wheels with 16.9 x 34 tires. If anyone's interested in them, email me. The 4030 has the same axle diameter as my JD 70.

Wendell, I looked in the 70 parts catalog and they don't show a 9 hole center pressed wheel for a 70. Do you have a part number? Thanks for the E-mail reply. Leroy

Go to your local dealer or find a farmer that can spare a set. They are 3 1/8 inch diameter and ones off a 4020 adapted for duals will work.I bought a set of M&W hubs for mine and fit perfectly. They go used for around 150.00 to 250.00 depending on who you get em from.Good luck,Jack(TN).

They are the same as 3010-4010-3020 not 4020. A 4020 has 3 3/8 inch axles. Scott
