While doing custom bailing, land owner would give me old pull type pto combine if I could pull it out of the ditch. I think he just wanted to see the Deere's work as he had alot of orange equipment around. With the help of a chain saw, logging chain and a turbo 4020, we discovered something interesting under the combine. Its shaped as an L or LA, but the features aren't quite right. No finders, cast rear wheels, squared engine enclosure with louvre'd sides, Seat missing, steering wheel missing. The owner, who lived there since the 60's wasn't aware of it either.

Could be an unstyled L. The square shape to the engine hood. Can you post a picture or give some more description. Maybe someone near you can take a look.
