43 B, suspect push rod tubes are leaking, oil is gray and overfull while antifreeze won't stay up. Are there two tubes or four. With valve cover off I can clearly see the inside ones, but the outside ones look more like holes in the head. How much meat is on a tube. Could I make up some puller arms like a large pilot bearing puller? Tempted to try alumiseal first, just don't feel up to pulling the head. Thanks, Joe in NY

There is only 2 tubes, The outer pushrod holes are drilled. You can easly make a puller for them. Just like pulling sleaves. Go ahead and pull the head. At first I thought I had a tube go, but it was the head gasket. More fun. On a 1943 B too. 141524.

Have fun, Will P
