My uncle just purchased an old JD trail 4-14 plow and would like to know what model it is. Unfortunantly it is in pretty ruff shape and I could not find any numbers in any of the beams. The plow is on all rubber and has one arm to adjust the wheel in the furrow. The draw bar has a clevis to hitch plow to tractor. It has a main beam that connects all the trusses. The JD decal is still on this beam. The shares are the four bolt kind and the moldboards have a decal or number painted on them that reads HS 434 NC.
The mold boards are the trip kind much like the f145 plows
He would also like to know if the hubs are yellow or green.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Greg

Is the main beam small and solid or larger square tube? I'm assuming it is hydraulic lift. What size is tail wheel and can you find any part numbers on the steering parts on tail. I should be able to figure it out.

The main beam is about 2 by 2 solid steel. The rear wheel is 4.00 x 12 but I will not be able to get any numbers until after the weekend. By the way, it is hydraulic lift. Forgot to mention that the first time.
