I believe the power steering unit is close to the top of the front pedestal. I'll try to look at my books tonight. Their are repro steering wheels available but hold on to your hat. I saw at least 2 nose pieces in the swap area at Expo XI. There are several parts guys that specialize in the Dubuque type tractors. I know the parts are there.

Purchase the parts manuals for the 435, 420 & 1010's. And the 435 engine & tractor service manuals. Many parts swap directly. Then purchase a 420W tractor past serial number 125,000 or a 430W with the parts/options you need. Rebuilt the engine with only "N" series parts or the 2-53 will live up to the stories. The oilbath aircleaners where completely plugged on both of mine. The nose piece & hood are made out of "unatainium" . Obviously the previous owner made a good buck selling them. Good luck finding something. Reproduction steering wheels are carried in Green mag. Pull the high speed pto drive cover & look at the ring & pinion. They are often worn out from dirt/water contaminated poor quality lube & tractor overloading. Don't grab pto shafts no matter loose the drive seems to be. If it's just a rusty shaft spline it maybe fully engaged the next time it grabs you.
