All you John Deere people-and everyone else who went-How did you like the Expo XI show? I thought it was outstanding! Admitting the only other Expo I have seen was the '96 show at Grundy Center, This show was somewhat better than that one, I thought. The grounds and facility were excellent and the weather couldn't have been better either. By the way, I'm not a member of the Michiana club, I live a hundred or so miles east of Berrien Springs, but I sure wish my home county could(or would) provide a fairgrounds like that.

This was my 10th expo and while I've never been to one I didn't enjoy, there is always room for improvement. As a spectator I prefer the tractors be grouped by model for comparison, I did not notice any abundnce of trash anywhere, the grounds were wonderful. I agree with Clooney, about some of the tractors not being up to expo quality, but I think the outstanding ones made up for them. The best part is the exhibitors who stayed near their display and were ready to talk and answer questions. As expos go I'd have to give this one a 10. Bob

Great showmy first. Not many Ds, only one 70 row crop!!

This is a small thing, but it really irked me; Nice tractors surrounded by rubbish. Time and again a fine piece of machinery was next to or underneath the exhibitors pop bottles, water cooler, K-Mart bag, McDonalds bag or some such. I never did get a picture of the coke bottle display tractor. Are these the same people who buy a fine house and park an old car and three refrigerators in the front yard? I know, I knowits their tractor and they can do what they want with it. I just found it irritating.

On the good side, the weather was perfect and the folks who hosted it were extremely friendly and helpful. Clearly, they had done their preparation. It was good to meet some of the folks who post on this board. Just reaffirms the thought that JD people are the best!!

I don't know about other Expo's but this one was great. The grounds were very good. It sure was nice to have a shade tree next to my tractor & planter. Met a lot of interesting people too. The host club did a very good job organizing things. I was unloaded and in my spot within 15 minutes after I drove through the gate. I hope Expo can come back there again.

Dukester, I also attended the Expo & was very impressed with the grounds & the way the event was run (the club that hosted the show did a fantastic job). I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of some of the tractors that were displayed though. While there were some excellent displays & some very original looking tractors & equipment there seemed to be many tractors that were not up to expo quality. I was amazed there were so few J.D. D's on display. All in all I had a good time though.

This was the best Expo location I've seen, but
the poorest bunch of tractors I've seen anywhere.
lot of painted over dents and putty.A friend of
mine commented that the auction looked like
a Junk yard.
