I just scored another piston on my 72 3020 gasoline. This is the second time I did this in about 1100 hours. I was pulling two very large loads of hay through some low ground when this happened. almost the same situation as when it happened before. Is my gas too lean? should I be using a gas addittive? I love this tractor but I don't like to play "tractor doctor". I'm using Mystic 15w-50 oil in it which has also been used in my 730 that has over 15,000 hours on it, and my 4020 that has 12,000 on it, but they're deisals. Some say that this is not uncommon with this 241 cu. in. engine, but these tractors are rare. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wendell,
It you think it's the oil that broke down and caused the problem, get a sample of it and send it to have it analyzed. Your dealer should be able to tell you where to send it. I sold Mystic products for 21 years and I know they stand behind their product.
