How the heck do you get your hand in to remove the tappet oil line from the block?

You need one wrench to hole the nipple on the block and one to turn the nut on the line. its a little mean but it will come off. TWO WRENCHS I try to remove one on my 50 with only one wrench on the flare nut and twisted the line and broke it. Lucky for me I had a extra line from my parts tractor. Good Luck

Take housing cover off,I think it is 5/8 or 11/16 end wrench short or stubby It takes awhile after dropping wrench and skinning knuckles and cussing a bit .Have fun

Just had my 43b all apart. I took the oil feed line off the oil pump and bent it up alittle. (don't do this). But when I put it back together it was a pain getting everything back together to line up. You can get a open end wrench on the fly wheel side in the crankcase. Use a stubby openend. If I remember right it was a 5/8" wrench. I got it running on Saterday just in time for the forth. Keep trying, it took me an hour to get the line back in! God I would hate to do an H. My A wasn't as bad as my B. Remember, take your time and do it right the first time.
