Just purchased a J.D. 3020 with loader & rebuilt diesel. Am very pleased with the over all tractor, but when using the pto and auger, and the loader about 1/2 way elevated, the brakes, steering, loader and 3 pt. lift all go OUT! Drop the loader and rev the rpm and the auger will slowly lift. Don't know where to check the hyd fluid. Any ideas will be appreciated. Also, any idea on the weight of this tractor?

Lance:

A 3020 diesel weighs about 8020#. There should be a dipstick at the back of the platform (deck plate you rest your feet on) about where your right heel would be when not braking. The fill opening is located beside the seat on that rhs sheetmetal housing. It's about a 1 1/2 " pipe cap fitting. Use Hyguard! Also, you should get the OM for your serial number range.
