I would like to thank the Three Persons that replied and to let them know That the passage in bowl under brass plug was rusted shut and now tractor runs great.

Thanks John

John, this is kind of a generic breakdown of a DLTX carb & the passages that need cleaning. Some pasages are not in all carbs so if your carb doesn't have a paticular passage that is shown don't worry. Make sure you clean the little holes in the side of the bore at the throttle plate area.

John,
You are probably on the right track, it is essential to get those passages drilled out. There are bits available from Roberts Carburetor, and there is a gentlemen on this board (Clooney) who helped me out with a diagram showing exactly what needs to be done. My tractor is older and I don't think we have the same carb., but I imagine they are somewhat similar. I would send you the diagram if I could, but I already printed it out and deleted it. I used pipe cleaners to ream the holes out on mine, but I think that worked only because they weren't gummed up with varnish all that bad.
Hope that will get you started until some better info comes your way. Good luck!

John it is a simple passage inside the bowl which might be giving you the problem. Remove the bowl and remove the brass screw which is in the side of the main nozzle body. Take a very small drill bit and open the passage behind the screw, into the main nozzle area. This passage is very small and do not drill out any metal. This will let the tractor idle if the rest of the idle circuit is open. If you need any more info I will try to e mail some info out of the Marvel-Schebler service manual
