what is a john deere 720 standard on propane worth? I have found one that is in restorable condition and would like to know a fair price for it and how many were made. thank you for the help

I see no one has stepped up to tackle this one, so I guess I'll give it a try. There were 336 LP Standards with Power steering, and 9 without. They were actually built from late 1956 to mid 1958, but there were only 1957 and 1958 models, regardless of who says they have a 1956. As for price, the ones I have seen actually selling are priced about like a diesel Standard, I guess people are a little leary of the LP's even though they are rare. The ones that are priced like a rare tractor ($7500 and up for an unrestored model) seem not to sell, they keep getting relisted for sale. I have seen one for $20,000, but it only had 1000 hours supposedly. If its decent, I'd try to stay below the $3500 range. Hope this helps.
