Most Deere pistons are 45,90 & 125 thou over. Go just enough to clean up the bore & she should be Ok. Albert & some other dealers have what you need in stock & specific advice on how to install for best service. May as well use high altitude or LP pistons for a little extra pep & fuel efficiency.

I have an "m" with the worst galded-up cylinder wall in # 1 cylinder that ANYBODY has ever seen>It had at least a half tea-cup of crap laying ON TOP of the piston, which appeared to be guts from the muffler. It even grew solid lumps on the walls which turned into golf ball shaped pits when I honed it.It had been stored under a shed for TEN years.Where did all the condensation come from?.125 won't clean it up.Where and how can I get sleeves for it or have the work performed. This is the most complete, rust free, dent free "m" that I have ever seen.It has two headlights, one rear work light and a rear red light, power belt pulley and double groove V BELT PULLEY WITH PTO COVER.eXCEPT FOR PAINT,IT'S A BRAND NEW TRACTOR.iT'S NEVER BEEN PATCHED OR HAD EVEN THE SMALLEST DING IN THE SHEET METAL.HELP,PLEASE! It runs o.k. but blows by a bunch of smoke around the oil filler tube.No liquid ,just vapor..The world needs to see this tractor!!!I also got the original discs and two bottom plow with it.HELP ,Dave Harris
