730 live pto

Have a late model 730 gas that the pto has gone south. Haven't tried adjusting it but feel it may be a wasted try (but I am gonna try). Found a couple of 720s and a 70 with live power in a junkyard. I am pretty sure the clutches in the 720s will fit but will the clutches in the 70 work also? It is the best 'looking' unit externally (I know looks can be decieving). Thanx for any replies. HB

Better hope you can adjust your way out of the problem, I had to rebuild mine and the parts alone were around 600.00 Good luck Don

Upon consulting my parts books for both 70 and 720/730, I notice that very few parts have the same pn. The clutch drive discs are about the only parts that are the same. I'll say NO, they won't interchange. Sorry.
