I just picked up a 3010. The remote hydraulic connections leak when I connect the hoses. I don't yet have a parts manual so anyone know what the part is that needs to be repaired. Is there a rubber o-ring or gasket inside the female end of the remote connector. Looks like there may be, but if so they look worn out. Are these replaceable? If so, how does one go about the task? Thanks for any help you can offer.

John

John , your information is correct. Your old couplers had an oring & white teflon ring in them.
The o ring can be subbed to a quad ring part number R59343. The backup ring is R26485. The quad ring goes in first and the teflon ring next, (or to the outside) I agree about the o ring pick.
You can find many uses for them . Good Luck.

The o-rings are the problem, they are not hard to replace. Go to your John Deere dealer, they will get you the right o-rings They will also have a o-ring tool (pick) its made to pick out the old o-rings,you can use other tools to get them out but the tool they have will work the best.

If I remember right there is a rubber o-ring and a teflon backup ring in the groove with the o-ring. You should be able to easily see the o-ring in there. Use a pick of some kind to work it out. Be sure the o-ring and teflon ring are installed in the correct locations.
