I'm trying to remove the 5th & 6th Gear from the sliding gear shaft on a late model B. The JD shop manual shows two tapped holes in the gear into which to bolts are inserted and tightened to push the gear from the shaft. My gear does not have tapped holes. I'm using a gear puller, long handled 1/2 drive rachet, cheater bar and 330Lbs. of butt to tighten the puller. I can't budge it! The Sliding shaft is keyed and the gear appears to be keyed also. Could this be a wedge? Help!!

Like Chuck said, plenty of heat on the gear.
