Andrew

I took my ole rotted out gas cap into NAPA and they produced one that looked exactly like the old one. My neck on the tank was good so I didn't have a wear problem there.

Andrew, I get ignition parts, such as points, condenser, rotor, coil and dist. cap, at my small town auto parts store, it is a Carquest. If you are needing the ignition - light switch. That will have to come from Deere or find a good used one. I think they are over 50 bucks at Deere? As to the gas cap, an auto parts store may can match it. I don't know what Deere sells for a replacement cap, I have not had to buy one in a long time. You might try making a gasket and adding it to the one on your gas cap, to stop the leak. I have done that before with success.
